I heard from a friend's wife who works in Target and also BD.com has it listed as a Digibook as well.

I thought the digibook was an exclusive to wal mart? If there is a digibook inside of here, it would have to be different than the wal mart one, and so far it looks like there is one type of art for the digibook for Canada, Mexico and the US.

That other website does say it's a Digibook. But I can't see it happening where Walmart has a Digibook. IMO

The package is too light to have a digibook inside. I'm guessing it's the regular amaray version boxed in with the lego figure.

Rec'd my order from Target today and unfortunately they sent the standard version instead of this one. Now I have to do the exchange thing. Just get it right the first time.

You are not going to believe this. From my post above, I didn't look very closely at what I rec'd as I knew it wasn't the one with the lego figure. When I grabbed it today, it actually was from Best Buy. It has a Best Buy sticker on it.

How is that possible? I ordered from Target. The package it came in was from Target. But I rec'd the Best Buy version of The Hobbit. They don't share warehouses, do they? I emailed Target earlier as I thought I just got the regular version, but now I have to call them tomorrow. Doubt they will believe me unless others had the same issue and have contacted them.

I saw an unboxing of this and it's just a regular amaray case. No digibook. It doesn't even include a slipcover. Also, there's no plastic shrink wrap for it either.

I've seen price stickers from BBY and Wal-mart in my store. I can just chuckle.




BTW. This exclusive blew out of my store. About 45 copies of it went poof!

I thought it was just going to be a regular case but I imagined they would at least put a slipcover on it! Are you sure there's no shrinkwrap, that would be very strange if they didn't use any?
