I'm just thrilled they weren't damaged, the packaging sucked and it looked like hell  but no damages whatsoever! :scat:

For those international members that did not join Mathew's or my group buy, but where really interested in the Hunger Games set at $27.99 (which we were unable to offer due to the volume), vivablu has opened a group buy where you can get the set for $27.99+tax+gb fees + shipping...

Limited 1 set per requesting member.

I got my HUNGER GAMES shipment in the mail. I had ordered 3 copies of the HG/CF combo deal and they were shipped separately in brown paper packaging. All 3 were damaged (2 of which were really bad spine damages and 1 was a minor bump). Will be going to the nearby store for returns.

Best Buy has the absolute worst shipping packaging in the business (Target is a close second). I have never received a SB or box set from BB that didn't have damage ranging from surface scratches to significant debts. I always end up exchanging or returning at the retail store, which pretty much defeats the purpose of ordering. I may stop altogether, but I am always worried about early sellouts. It doesn't seem to happen often at my local BB however.

Target is pretty bad, my last 4 SB's from BB have been fine. They have been shipped in those corrugated brown envelopes and haven't had a issue with them. As long as they don't get ripped or torn they keep the SB's somewhat protected. WM and Target on the other hand with the plastic bags...I mean really? Who ships a steelbook in a plastic bag? Oh wait...lol
Oddly enough my Hunger Games and Catching Fire envelope was torn but thank God they were fine. At least they look fine.

Got these coming thanks to Frankfish44, but gutted to see this is only a one disc job. I've just ordered the 2 disc UK BD so I've got the extras disc too

Really enjoy the artwork of this steelbook, glad to own it, but gutted that when opening it today I discovered paint chips all over the backside underneath the card. This seems to happen with the matte Best Buy steelbooks a lot. :(

The only downer on this is that it's a one disc job and loses out on all the bonus features. I managed to pick up the UK 2 disc amaray nice and cheap and have put the bonus disc in with this
