Notes: A note about orders with Future Shop. It's important to understand this, as it's going to be different this time. This steelbook should be available with PRE-ORDER only until March 6th. If you don't pre-order, then you won't be able to get a copy. You can pre-order for shipping online, or pre-order for in store pickup. But if you walk into a store on March 7 looking for this steelbook, you will not be able to grab one off the shelf.

Don't get your hopes up. I hate the fact that BB owns FS yet we cannot get hardly any of the steels released in Canada. I got the first one off eBay along with the Harry Potter set. I just hope I can talk my wife into getting this one if it isn't released in the U S!!!

The french ad pictured above indicates that the steelbook will only be for customers who preorder. Does this mean that the discs will be included in a sealed steelbook, or will we get an empty steelbook with the amaray (like with some BB USA releases) ???

It does sound like a pre-order exclusive. Maybe they'll have 2 like last time. I think the District 12 was advertised as a pre-order exclusive too. Also it probably will be a sealed steelbook.

every time i see a FS release gives me hope for a USA one too...

I hope so as well and wreck did hint at possibly something big for the US at the start of the year (I had hoped Thor 2 ) but it would be great if we could get the catching Fire SB.


I am very happy I will be able to put this along side the first steel I got.

What I meant was that the steelbook for Catching Fire matches the design esthetic for the first Hunger Games movie - having the pin engulfed in flames.

You can have a thematic similarity without it being virtually identical eg die hard 1, 2 and 4 and Rambo 1,2 and 3 steelbooks . Also LOTR Steels and the Harry Potter canadian steels.
