the regular release was region locked so i imagine the blu ray disc will be the same

+1, couldn't agree more. This studio loves to region lock their releases. Actually I just looked at the disc in the picture and it indeed indicates region "B" only.
Don't think it has yet but highly doubtful it will be G1 as so far we've never got one G1 size Steelbook here in the UK, don't want to jinx it now
Looks like all three of the exciting upcoming UK releases (Devils Double, Drive) including this one will be region locked.... SAD.
Time to get that region free BR player
No kidding, eh. I might just have to... it sucks spending the money on steel's like this only to have to go buy the regular bluray as well just so you can actually enjoy the movie and not just steelbook, lol.

Pre-ordered. I already have the Hurt Locker BestBuy U.S release and I think this artwork is better so I firgured to add this to my collection.
Since the pic is a bit elongated, and it has not yet been confirmed that this is a G2, I added a note to the OP.
