Damm the seller on ebay France said it was not embossed so I did not buy it.
Ordered the Dutch release instead,now that I know its embossed gonna have to get this one to.

Beautiful design and all, I like especially the fact there's no printed back. It could have been perfect, without the French writing on it.

About the film itself, it is actually not that great. The only good thing is the battle at the end, which was kind of cool.

Nearly all metropolitan releases have forced French subs on the English sound track, as stated Conan and Expendables being rare exception's.

This will look awesome next to the French Conan steelbook, this has it all, nice front/back & inner art with embossed title & 3D (3Discs)

Now I'll have the best looking steelbooks of this flick, this with the world-wide release front art and the unique cover of The Netherlands Ver 2, job done next title please

Not bad at all. She is indeed gorgeous with the whole package.

I'll wait for my dutch version 2. If it failed and the movie is decent, then I'm going to Double D(ip) with the French one

They did a great choice of artwork for the inside and back...compare to the UK/Canada version. This is the better choice. They should have removed the front borderline...they didn't need that.

Well, I 'm sorry but yes..(at least on the 2D edition, wich should be the very same imo)

I suspect the price on this one will come down a little bit more - maybe to about 21-22 euros like Conan. I will wait for that before jumping in.

I think you misunderstand. "Forced subtitles" means you can't turn off the french subtitles when you choose English language.
Concerning Metropolitan Blu rays, you have French as subtitles only, but you can turn it off. Which doesn't mean "forced subtitles".

if so, did you manage to turn it off?

i only saw something like(translated into english) "original version with french subtitles",no choice to turn it off then ,and "french"

I don't have the movie, my explanation is based on the other Metropolitan Blu-Rays I have that offer only French subtitles but you can turn it off.
Could it be that Metropolitan has changed their Blu rays ?

I choose VOStfr then when I launch the movie I press the "Subtitles" button on the remote control to turn off. Did you try it ?
