@tokaman Are shipments from Korea to the UK sent via Korean Air?

Mine always used to be on the direct Finnair flight AY042 from Seoul to Helsinki, often only four days for a K-Packet from Korea to my post office.

Nowadays (since April 2015) Korean Post always ships them on TK091, typically adding 4-5 days to the overall shipment time.

I can't see any other reason for this than reduced costs; amazing though that a detour via Istanbul would be cheaper - there's plenty more miles (44% more) when going Seoul-Istanbul-Helsinki compared to a direct flight.

I have no idea which airline is used, I just posted that pic as a little joke about all the steelbooks being shipped and on the plane ;)

Edit: I have just been looking through my previous orders in my account and orders to UK come direct from Korea via British Airways flight (BA018) so I can only assume when the tracking updates on my Incredibles order it will come on the same flight

And there probably were some who didn't bother pointing it out as it was both stated in the OP and looked like it in the pictures who therefore thought it to be no mystery at all. ;)

Possibility but no one pointed that out either when I posted it lol

Anyway it's fine, at least we get a lenti full slip from kimchi

I never got a dispatch today :(
