@ta0151
Just curious. Why have you changed to the fullslip?
@Patr0n - a number of reasons. I really liked the look of the shots in post #170, especially the art cards that show the actors with their characters. I think these add a new dimension to the package. Also, the embossing and finish on the full slip look great, and I prefer the green spine to the darker one on the lenti.
At first, the lenti struck me as more eye-catching but I started to think that the cover was redundant, since the same artwork appears on the front of the steelbook. To be honest, I've never been much of a lenti person anyway. There are a few I like but they tend to vary in quality and even the best ones lack sharpness and definition (at least, to this pair of eyes). All the ones I own look soft and out-of-focus, including those that have grail status. I get why other people love them, and I'm not a lenti hater by any means. I just think they're not my cup of tea. I prefer an image that is pin-sharp.
Having said all that, Blufans have done a bang-up job with both editions of this release and I was hesitant about changing my order. The lenticular slip does looks great, and I love the rear artwork on it. Initially I wasn't keen on the rear of the full slip, but on reflection I think the image of Mowgli and Raksha in the rain tells you more about the emotional heart of this movie.
At the end of the day, the thing I care about most is the steelbook itself. I thought the WWA was horrid, so I'm thrilled Blufans have manufactured this little beauty.
Hope that answers your question and thanks again
@cooey for changing my order at the last minute!
