I don't think there's explaining the high price. It's the same price as the rest of the releases that were announced. No reason this title should come bundled with anything. The only thing we can do is wait for the price drop that is inevitably coming according to Wreck.

It took ages for Nemo to sell out as there are a few similar versions out there with more discs/extras included. On the other hand WFRR & Aladdin sold out in a couple of days, I suspect this and Mermaid will follow this trend out and sell out extremely quickly

even at 30.00, they will be sold out, maybe not as fast as other titles but they will! you are talking about classics from Disney!

As far as I know, all of the Blu-Ray classics have had a new transfer. That said, they haven't all been great. Tarzan was actually recalled over the transfer quality.

It can be a bit of a lottery, but I'd think that much effort will be put into this one, as the title is a real favourite.
