I love the art but it does big me that on this and Aladdin they've used an updated illustration rather than the actual character designs from the movies - sort of betrays the movies in a way...

Silly news about increased printruns . Dunno about the combination of high price and that though should be the other way around really..

Hope IM3 is not more than 5K.

For me i prefer unlimited so that everyone can get this. They should not make anymore amaray version:D

If you really want everyone to get this, then they should keep making amaray's. Not everyone has extra money to spend on a steelbook packaging. A lot of people don't give a F about steelbooks and don't want to pay the extra 5-10 GBP because of its packaging... So amaray's will always be there... Most people buy the normal/amaray version.

does anyone think that the artwork will change..
i only asks because it does not make sense to have Shere Khan the tiger in that picture
he is the villain .. not part of that group
the look on his face is the one that Bagheera the panther would have and he should be on the cover to..in place of shere khan

i like Shere Khan on the cover, watch how pissed he looks, just awesome.

Sorry, I was referring to Kaa. Would've been cool to have had the sly look on his face.

Anyway, it pisses me off how they haven't used the original illustration style:

Instead, opting for the style used for the sequel which I wouldn't be PAID to watch even once!

There's a problem here.

if you look at the platinum dvd version it have nearly the same style of artwork as the steelbook:

and to be honest i think the new coverart style looks way better on a steelbook than the older ones, the fuller and richer colours could come really great with a glossy finish.

Is it too soon to ask what the languages and subtitles will be on this one? I'm asking because Aladdin had multiple languages and subtitles tracks (even Czech, which was a surprise). So I'm hoping this will be the same... that would make up for a bit higher price. :)
