Yes, come on Arrow !! Love this film. Tony Scott, Shane Black and Bruce Willis all at their absolute best. Hopefully Arrow will be able to get Shane Black heavily involved in new bonus content based on Second Sight getting so much out of him on their The Nice Guys release.
R.I.P. Tony Scott. Recently enjoyed Top Gun on IMAX, Crimson Tide and Revenge (Theatrical Version ) on Blu-ray a few evenings ago with friends. All prime era Tony Scott. Great filmmaker in his prime. Time for a viewing of True Romance now.
The guy was a ledge. Personally, I like almost everyone of his films, even The Fan and Domino. A lot of people bag on Deja Vu, yes it's preposterous nonsense but man is it fun. Unstoppable was a super film and even though it sad that he never got to make anymore films, it's was as good a place as any to land on for your final movie.
Man on Fire was great fun too. He was the king of big action, thriller entertainment and I always preferred Tony Scott over Michael Bay.
Talk about this for a run of hits -
Top Gun into Beverly Hills Cop 2 into Revenge into Days of Thunder into Last Boy Scout into True Romance into Crimson Tide.
That's stuff we just don't get these days with Directors.
