I cancelled all of my pre orders for this wave a few months ago. The prices for most are way too high, with no extra content or booklets I don't see how they can be called premium. The fact that there is very little posts on these threads also says a lot. Unless the come down in price by 30-40% I don't see how these will ever go OOS.

I think I'd have to agree with most of that. Just too expensive for catalogue titles. Steelbooks are the great cash cow now, and to a certain extent we don't mind that as long as the price is low and the quality is high. If you're going to put out old titles at this price, they need to be really top notch for presentation and features. I'll reserve judgement until I see pics, but I'm not blown away so far.

+1 just did the same. ill bite if i can get them for £10 or so UNLESS they come with some special treatment like de/embossing (which is highly unlikely).

I have the US version but if the back and inside artwork look like the front I might buy this one. $27 isn't too bad, but it's not an exclusive so it won't be rare like the white Asian steels

It is an UK exclusive but affordable and made easily available online.

Yes it's a UK exclusive but what I meant was that it is readily available from like 4 retailers and yet to sell out at any so it leads me to believe its likely not to be very rare.

I think these steels look great even though a bit pricey but as long as these have inside art and no text on back i'l buy a few of them, it beats paying what people were asking for the asian releases that's for sure.
