Watched this recently on Blu-ray 3D (It's region free) and it was fantastic. Just one question though - Was this film made in Australia, most of the non-starring Owls seemed to have Aussie accents?
According to play.com (who can usually be trusted as accurate) the additional languages on the UK 3D version are French & Spanish, and the subtitles are English SDH, French & Spanish. Other forums, which shall be nameless confirm this!
That's the actual problem I have : according to these details, I've ordered the 3D set, received it today and there's no french at all in the specs
So it's still sealed and I wonder what to do : to open or return ?
Just picked this up from Deep Discount, using stackable codes 25MORE and CONNECT, for a total a little less than $17 shipped. Hopefully it doesn't get either cancelled or take 6 months to ship, since DD isn't the most reliable company, for sure.
I enjoyed both the film and the use of 3D. There was one scene in it where a little bird comes flying towards you before it is snatched by the talons of an owl and it actually felt as though it had came out of the TV. Definitely recommend it if you're a ***** for 3D effects and the story isn't too bad either! The CGI looks great, also.
