The Lego Batman Movie (2D+3D Blu-ray SteelBook) (HMV Exclusive) [UK]

Something that has been nagging me for a while. I have often wondered why UK retailers offer steelbooks for sale with the wrong / not official cover art. Wouldn't it be more prudent to hold of showing artwork until it is confirmed rather than placing placeholder images? I kinda like that when I order from let say Best Buy, Asia....artworks posted are mostly never changed as they are official
At least they say it is subject to change. Check Thailand retailers. They are to me the worst offenders.

A stretched batman logo on the inside covering both sides.

Of course but featuring the logo once would do lol (like on the front cover) and the rest with something else with batman or his logo not so prominent.
Sorry, I think you misunderstood my comment bud... I was also just poking fun at their overuse of the symbol (as if we didn't know it was a Batman movie lol). But yes, I completely agree with you!
Personally speaking I like the look of it.
As spot gloss (lol) it's not going to be nearly as luxurious as the first steelbook but the design is fine, particularly the inside.
So, what's going to be on the BACK?
Maybe the three main characters?
. . . or the super sexy Harley Quinn . . .
. . . or even the original TBC front . . .

Would of been very happy with either the 1st image or the 3rd (original mock up) for the front and maybe Harley as the back art.
Anyone who has the blufans steel will not how good a proper poster image would look great on this as gloss to match
And/ or maybe the original mock up art as the lenti - to match blufans excellent lenti, all those characters would look awesome

Yes I would love that ! The LEGO Movie was one of the first Blufans that I got, so I would totally get The LEGO Batman Movie to go with it
