UK 20% VAT not collected by Zavvi, yet they charge the same price from overseas customers as from the UK customers (who pay VAT).

incredibly pointless release. original glossy zavvi steelbook is fantastic.

My copy just arrived--safe and sound, despite shipping in a thin cardboard envelope. I actually like the steelbook quite a lot. The lenticular is not the clearest or deepest, but it gives the steelbook a nice look. The main problem with the Disney lenti wave is the price. At 14.99 any of them would be a no-brainer. But 24.99 is just far too much. I hope the line doesn't stall out simply because they misjudged the price point.

I don't think you need worry about that as this steelbook is a decent purchase for those not around for the original and although the new one is not in the same ballpark as the original - with no 'bossing and with an average lenticular - it's not as bad in hand as some are making out.
The worry is that 1-disc steelbooks are costing 25 quid !

Received my copy today. The packaging envelope that the steelbook was shipped in was different from the previous Zavvi steelbooks I've received from them.
It looks cool but came with a loose disc. I hope it's okay.

And I had an invoice in mine (I'm sure others did also) that said the item had been sent to my address from a "Returns Department" somewhere in Cheshire.
Bit strange.

Of course Disneys will keep selling it out right? Nope, and Zavvi can't clear their stock out and now they lose money, good for them. That's what happens Disney get too greedy re-releasing so many of their movies to cash up.

I held off buying any of them until the price drop, now it be rude not to!

This is why I stopped buying these Disney Lenticulars. They are not cheap but being re-releases combined with lack of gloss and embossing have hurt the sales. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in 2 for 18 deal.

I unfortunately got the 2 I wanted back on release but in the future I'll wait for the drops with these

Wreck it Ralph is the next one I want and will bundle with somthing on their next sale - maybe with lilo and stitch or moana and like lgans say will most likely be a 2 for £18 or £20

Only specific titles are part of the 2 for £30 deal. Too bad WiR, Tangled, and Beauty & the Beast were not included. I'm glad Lion King is part of the deal though.
