this will actually be my first zavvi disney collection steelbook, not fussed about owning all disney steelbooks as i have the amarays but i don't have lion king and its a classic and includes 3D, only one I'm sad i missed is Frozen.

Do you lot order all the Zavvi Disney/Pixar exclusives or just the movies/steels you like?
So far I own:

Aristocats
Hercules
Jungle Book
Little Mermaid
Pinocchio
Toy Story 1-3

Prefer the steelbook to have exclusive artwork first and foremost- This is why I'm holding out a bit longer before getting films like Aladdin and The Lady and The Tramp (although I love both movies)
Ultimately, can see myself collecting them all in time...
I have all of the Zavvi Disney/Pixar Steelbooks so far and will be ordering all future releases still to be announced
Its a brilliant collection and I don't want any missing from the collection

This Zavvi Lion King Steelbook will be as far as I'm concerned will be the best release so far
Its going to look fantastic with a full gloss finish and has proper artwork related to the film

The TW version to me is just very boring and lacks artwork relative to the film and its embossing/debossing don't change that its boring in my opinion even though I know some like it but I don't and what counts with me is what I like

I will most likely be getting a shelf made just for these steelbooks

28 Zavvi Disney/Pixar Steelbook titles
It will be 30 Steelbooks by this Monday or Tuesday
The Hunchback of Notre Dame/The Aristocats

I also have 5 others on pre order on top of that
The Rescuers/Pocahontas/The Fox and the Hound/Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs/The Lion King

Ordered. Added, Alice in Wonderland to get 20% off!
Also canceled all my other individual pre-orders and added them to my Lion King order to save on shipping. Every bit counts.

I've got most of them. Btw, most of the artwork on Snow White has been used before. The front artwork is taken directly from the amaray (except there's no border on the steel (so far), and the witch has been removed from the front and has been stuck on the back instead. The inside art is similar to the US steel, except you've got Snow White instead of the Prince). I actually think the majority of the artwork has been used before on home video releases, but not necessarily on other steelbooks. Pinocchio is one of the exceptions.

I've got the whole collection so far and to date the only damage I had was one spine slash which I was able to get a replacement copy.
Having seen some of the pictures posted of damage done to some of them, I really have been getting the luck of the Irish.

I'm also looking forward to getting enough shelf space to put all these together.

Actually, I think the artwork on the TW version is just as relevant as the Zavvi version as it features a symbol associated with a couple of the most important scenes in the film. But then again, I prefer simple covers that contain only a title and a logo (so long as the logo is well designed, like the TW version, as well as steels like Men In Black and The Godfather).

One improvement over the TW version is the lack of a Blu-Ray banner. I also didn't love how the 'the' in the title was placed inside the 'O'. I think the title on the Zavvi version is nicer.

To my knowledge, aren't the Little Mermaid, Jungle Book & Aristocats all exclusive artworks too?? Hoping for a Beauty and The Beast steelbook announcement soon, also be nice to see A Bugs Life as one of the next Pixar releases.
