Its a Third Party Seller putting up for sale on Amazon and its not allowed
don't bother placing a order this happened with Finding Nemo/Aladdin/Who framed roger rabbit Zavvi exclusive steelbooks

In all cases amazon ended up cancelling all orders and will do the same with this cancelling this as well

I have contacted Amazon to remove this and also to stop the Third Party Seller from be allowed putting any more pre orders on amazon that are Zavvi exclusive as its the same person doing this and is only causing confusion to customers and will end up been cancelled by amazon themselves

It is a third party seller its the same person who being doing this with previous Zavvi exclusive and the previous were listed the same had BD SteelBook Retail in the title
don't place an order with amazon you wont get it you must not have being noticing previous notices on this fourm about other steelbooks mentioned its only available from Zavvi

Am looking forward to getting the Little Mermaid, a bit frustrating that the steelbook is a few weeks behind the Amaray. We watched this on DVD at the weekend and the picture was really grainy

I think that the best way to address this is to click on "update product info" link on the Amazon product page and amend the title to "The Little Mermaid - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook (The Disney Collection #3) Blu-ray". Where it asks "I know I'm correct because:" choose the "There are other websites that verify my changes", then enter the URL of the product page on Zavvi.com and just see what Amazon do about it, given that they state "We will research your suggestions thoroughly"!

I have just done this, and I await their response (they say that they will e-mail you once they have looked in to your suggestion)!

Well it's now in the top 100 no:86 so there def orders being put in.
It really does look like amazon though who knows.
Mind you the title reads retail lol amazon don't put that in there title.

Ye looks like they've reprinted these god knows how many but they have removed the ltd to 4k from the website imho I feel that zavvi are really getting out of control with this £23 for what could now be at least a 5k run maybe even 10k.
Look at JB, ebay is flooded with them and zavvi can't sell them all soon the value will drop below what they cost new.
People will say I've got JB and the reply would be well who hasn't.
Anyone remember roger rabbit and it's 3k? it sold out fast it's hardish to get and still well talked about I think i'm going to join the already expanding group of people that shop over seas for steelbooks with the ltd numbers ,slips, stickers, more content, better value.

I wonder how many people in the uk spend there money overseas rather than inside the uk in order to get what they want i'm not sure but i'll bet the numbers are growing.

Sorry just my feelings on the matter and not just zavvi but now ES are up to 4k and 5k print runs so i'll be stopping there aswell it seems to be more about quantity rather than the quality just look at blufans & kimchi for the quality wise example.

I thought the print run was never confirmed and when Zavvi announced the "Disney Collection" it was confirmed there and then that only those released after this title would be "Limited"...

You should not have placed an order as its only available from Zavvi
Zavvi exclusive means its exclusive to zavvi only

You will get a email before release date telling you your order is cancelled

I told amazon and they now removed it and are stopping the third party seller from doing this with future releases

If this was not stopped you would have had customers thinking they could place a order and then before release date being told sorry we were unable to supply this release

Only after a release date can third party sellers use amazon to sell zavvi exclusives (NO PRE ORDERS ARE ALLOWED IF ITS A ZAVVI EXCLUSIVE)

This has happened with
Aladdin
Finding Nemo
Jungle Book
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
all were zavvi exclusive and all were cancelled and refunded by amazon just before release date

When you see Zavvi Exclusive its means that
only exception to this is Zavvi Outlet are allowed to sell pre orders on ebay and zavvi outlet on play.com

i actually preorderd it on amazon then contacted them asking if it was a third party seller or themselves selling this steelbook and this is the reply i got from customer services..
