"Say, let's rerelease yet another steelbook..... Shall we redo one that instantly sold out and customers were begging for? Nah. Let's just do one of the ones that we couldn't shift for aaaaages"

Well...people love Disney and Disney keeps prices of their products consistently high. They even put their movies in a "vault" for years to keep supply low. So if people keep buying the re-releases, why wouldn't they keep making them? At least it's a new design and not just a rehash of the original design.

I don't mind the re-releases, but I only double dip on movies that I love. I don't own a copy of this movie yet, hoping it drops to £9.99 at some point.

RE: RE-RELEASES - Taking into account that all of these re-releases being made available now for new (and seasoned) collectors where the original steels are OOP and only available on the secondary market is surely not a bad or unfair policy

Disney Vault is mostly only used with Disney USA Blu-ray
Disney Europe have stopped this a while ago putting Blu-ray/DVD releases into Disney Vault most are still available in Europe to purchase on Blu-ray or DVD

Disney Europe will do lot more re releases and some will be steelbooks this year
Disney Europe have been re-releasing most of the top sellers in different packaging past 2 years

The previous steelbook 4000 print run most of the stock sold fast with small amounts coming back in stock on zavvi outlet on ebay

It's not a film I personally like but it still sold well

Glad you noticed my sarcasm... or not. :p

Ahh yes, I'm pleased I only paid the lowest possible price for this film As much as I love Tarantino, he sure likes some trash films! But then I suppose we all have our "guilty pleasures". :)

Personally I would have said "As much as I like (some of) Tarantino's work"- as personally I find him an arrogant, puffed-up egomaniac old queen - now watch the dedicated Tarantino hem-kissers start with the untold fury of a lover scorned - :naughty::angel::rolleyes:;):)

In case anyone was wondering (doubtful) my guilty pleasures come in the form of Castle Keep, The Ninth Configuration, Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad etc; the last two have the major attraction of featuring lots of the young and luscious Caroline Munro :)

In all honesty, there are so many movies to release on steelbook yet they keep on recycling these over and over again. Come on Disney!
The Black Hole
Dragonslayer
Ruthless People
Black Cauldron

The Black Hole
Dragonslayer
Ruthless People
Black Cauldron
All of these not had a Blu ray release so not possible for a Steelbook
Dragonslayer is a Paramount/Disney film

Only available on Dvd
Black Hole might see a Blu ray release in a few years

Haven't seen this one yet. Does it come recommended?
Some like the film and some hate it

It's down to personal enjoyment you might love it or hate it

I personally not a big fan of the film but it does have some fun moments in the film but could have been lot better

The website says it's going for 17.99 rather than 19.99. Might have to pick this up. I like the design a lot and do really enjoy Johnny Depp.
