Production costs must be very high in China :wow:

Or... hear me out...

We're suckers, addicted to steelbooks and addicted to the notion of "premium" products with "all the bells and whistles" (even if that implies goddamn postcards), and they exploit our weakness knowing they'll get away with it since they're 'premium'.

Sorry, loose lenticular doesn't scream premium to me, more like 'lazy', and not listening to our complaints.

Disney's Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 3D Blu-ray + 2D Blu-ray + Soundtrack / Ultimate Edition with exclusive steelbook and double-sided lenticular slipbox can be priced at $71 I guess (even though we all know they're still making a huge profit), not a single-disc The Man from UNCLE WWA steelbook.

I am sure licensing cost more for The Man from Uncle since it just came out. The other title is a year old. It is also possible HDzeta didn't make any money from FF7 and are using it to promote their online store. I am sure anything is possible.

At least they have a webstore and sell product worldwide. I am sure when they get more established and have print runs of 2000-4000 they will have more of them on their store.

They already list their exclusive gold label series till it sells out...It's the silver stuff which is rarely listed if the run is 300/350 and it seems they rather outsource to a GB than list say 100 units for International.

Oh well. That's their business decision. Probalby a good idea like you said to do 100 for order.

Hear hear! I'm pretty new to the "premium" end of the market but am already starting to become more discerning and not snap up everything in sight just because it's an ultra limited run, especially when something like this is available from other sources!

Nit
@wxlinkswd Do you think that there is a little chance for a GB here or will it be available for internationale customers at the HDZeta Onlineshop?
Thanks!
not sure if there's too much yellow going on here?? Neither of the two main artworks for this movie blew me away. Great film but I'm not dying to add this to my collection.... Shame!

GB is a bit expensive but not surprising since it is going to host first! Wish I could afford but I am waiting for 7 releases that have all been paid for this month
