I'd prefer the original poster art on the steel, but the book design would make a very cool slip!

The original movie poster art is the only good choice for this, it just captures the feel of the movie so well. It amazes me this hasn't had a Steelbook yet, it's such an obvious choice, a true classic along with the Monster Squad and Elvira

The artwork is actually pretty nice IMO, but they've ruined it by making it completely blue! No idea what they were thinking when placing credits along the bottom either.

Pity about the title. It's actually not bad. Especially for the price.

Not one of the stories I grew up with . . . more Tolkien and C.S. Lewis' the Narnia stories . . . and only came across this story in the mid '80s when a girlfriend gave me the book.
Naturally bought the film on Blu-ray in 2010 when it was released in my territory . . .

This artwork with:
a) English language title
b) The Nothing on the spine
or even
c) Spine thumbnails of Bastian, Falcor, Atreyu, Rockbiter, Childlike Empress . . .
. . . would be more than acceptable.

Man, what a missed opportunity. Slap some gloss on that, emboss the Auryn Pendant on the back, that would make up for the German title. At least the text on the spine is going the right way.
