Not only one of the funniest, this movie is easily one of the best we've seen so far in 2016. The comedy and chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, the throwback setting to 1970's Los Angeles, the note-perfect, sharp-as-a-tack banter that only Shane Black can deliver. It all works.
