Based on Margery Sharp's series of children’s novels, THE RESCUERS is a 1977 Disney animated film following Miss Bianca and Bernard, two adventure-seeking mice and members of the Rescue Aid Society, as they endeavor to rescue a lost child from the wicked Madame Medusa.
We are excited to team with Matthew Woodson and our friends at Cyclops Print Works on our first Disney release for a mystifying take on the Bronze Age classic: THE RESCUERS. Blending Matthew’s lush illustration style and interest in natural history with Disney’s iconic characters and storytelling, this is a singular and perilous perspective on an overlooked gem from the vault.
This poster is a 9-color screenprint featuring pearlescent inks that produce a subtle emanating glow from the Devil’s Eye hidden within the skull, as well as over the title treatment.
