The Office is an American mockumentary television series that airs on NBC and is developed by Greg Daniels. An adaptation of the original and critically-acclaimed British BBC series The Office, the series depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania, branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. To simulate the look of an actual documentary, it is shot in a single-camera setup,[citation needed] without a studio audience or a laugh track. The presence of the camera is openly acknowledged by the characters.

created this thread to both let you guys know it was out of BD if you didn't know.. but to also ask a question.

Up until now i've been pretty content with buying most TV shows on DVD opposed to those shot on high-def like lost and heroes.

Being that this is shot on SD is there really a reason to get it on BD? Can you actually tell the difference enough to warrant the extra money?

I'm a fanboy just as much as the next guy with over 160 BD titles in my collection, so i'm looking for more than a stock answer...

thanks.
