Interesting that. Right after it’s explained in detail on here how to do it
Tbf there’s a few other forums with step by step instructions. Could be that they’ve ended their partnership with Refer Me has come to a natural end or they’ve just put it on hold while they do other sales. Hopefully they do bring it back if there’s enough noise about it on social media.

this is shite going back to paying full price after so long with 20% discount. ergh.
I’ll move back over to zavvi with the 10% now

HMV will learn. I’m sick of rip off Britain now anyway and I’m not paying full price for all these overly priced steelbooks and collectors editions. And I’ve only ordered 2 vinyl from HMV this year anyway compared to the 30 odd I had last year

What 10%? You only get that on old stock and pre-orders if you manage to spot them the minute they go up but otherwise there isn't really a discount as I can buy most older releases for less than retail.

I don't think HMV deserves any criticism for selling stuff at RRP but I do think it's a mistake not to bring in a replacement loyalty scheme, they got a decent chunk of business thanks to the old one and built up good will, why not take advantage of that?

Just checked, yeh they ended it, only reason most of the items were selling was due to the 20% off,
that will mean they will end up with stock left again eventually when codes run out, meaning they will
start to go on sale again more so than in recent times.

o fgs they disabled it working for pre-orders as well........won't be ordering many things now unless they are in stock on release.
Any important pre-orders may be placed with Zavvi now as they allow cashback and HMV don't....so looks to be a drastic drop in HMV orders for me.

Yes, well... it would seem hmv have foolishly hemorrhaged cash for too long and now the seams are starting to show :smashed: aint nobody gonna be buying 3 4Ks just to save £3.30 on each. Pitiful "deal". Back to zavvi we all go, I suppose
