Although the Zavvi artwork looks like a proper mock-up, it may not be the final artwork (though Zavvi stating '*Artwork subject to change' isn't really helpful as it states that on most of their listings). StudioCanal announced Withnail and I, and the artwork that was supplied to HDN (currently showing in the thread for the Steelbook here) is slightly different to the one showing on Zavvi's site right now (check out the small differences in the spine). I guess it's possible that this was rushed, preliminary artwork and final artwork will be supplied in due course. Just speculating, but there is hope. That said I still think the final art will be based on what has already been supplied. I can see the quotes/star ratings being removed but that's about it

And when did the UK last release a steel that was "ugly"?! No printed backs, no printed rating logos, no blue banners (Star Trek excluded) etc etc

UK is the leader for steelbooks at the moment. No doubt about it.

The vast majority of steels released in the UK have inside art, clean front and back etc....a huge variety of catalogue titles and new releases.

Germany is awful, Canada loves their French text, USA is all about the re-releases and Asia is just ridiculously expensive.

UK has set the standard over the past 18 months or so.
