Ive not been able to find it, I went to Liffey Valley, today and Friday

It came out today- I went to HMV in Gunwharf, Portsmouth this afternoon and picked one up, the guy behind the counter told me that they only received 3 in total for the whole store- low print run maybe!!

double dipped and picked this one up as well as the zavvi edition.
zavvi edition wins with the front artwork, hmv wins with the rear.
both have different interior art which is a bonus as each one gets the thumbs up from me.
i can see others double dipping as they are both damn fine!!

Agree. They are both so close. Both really nice in their own right. Not sure what the best option would be.

What's annoying me is, Anarchy is awesome looking but Zavvis steelbook for the first movie looks really poor (going by what I've seen so far, which is only the front cover) and let's down the individual steelbook option IMO.

Strangely my local HMV claims to have not received their allocation. I told the cashier that it sounds odd that they didn't get it in stock and suggested that maybe it had sold out on day one, so she checked their inventory and showed me on the screen that no copies had been scanned into the store. Has anyone else encountered this? It seems that small town stores outside of the big cities are getting the short straw

went into ipswich when i picked up dawn of the planet of the apes and they said that the release date had been put back to the 24th november, none scanned in and the lady said she could order a copy of it for me at £25.00

This happened in Ireland with Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. The smaller hybrid Xtra-vision/HMV rental stores received copies to sell but not my main local HMV store. Girl on checkout thought it was strange also......

I couldnt see any of the shelves in Liverpool, the queue was kinda big when I went in so couldnt be bothered asking at the till lol

Will look tomorrow or something, not desperate for this steel it just seems better value then getting the two seperate steels (and the first purge movies steelbook looks bleh)

They've definitely given you duff information. I got mine a week ago from their Portsmouth (Gunwharf) branch and it was only £17.99.
