Ok, sorry to resurrect a thread long dead but... I finally decided to bite the bullet and open the Black slip and check out the enclosed goodies. I'm one of the cynical types that usually has a digital copy of the film as a watchable version, so keeps the special steelbook sealed against future sale possibility, but there ain't no way I'm selling these editions so I thought I'd open them.

The reason I'm posting this is because I, like many, don't see the point in opening a steelbook if it's no different to the regular edition. But... This edition is. The booklet included with most special edition steels is a thoughtful add on, but the booklet with these editions includes some of the best analysis of not only the Raid duology but also Merantau, the film Gareth Evans preceded the pair of films with. Any fan will be thrilled with this extra information and it really helped me get over the shakes of opening an expensive investment. I've been looking lasciviously at the other unopened steels (BluFans GOtG, Interstellar of several types) recently I have and I need a reason to open them as I have digital copies I can watch. With The Raid, I'm pleased to say I made the right choice. Now about the unopened lentis.....

One fine day most of us will call it a day. At that time you will say What have I done? Oh look at that Lenticular slip I bought few years ago lying in the last row of my shelf not accessible. Imagine the time spent selling these and the pain when taking these along during moving house. I am often reminded of the pain, waste of time and losing quality time with my family.

You've most likely, accidently, picked cash instead of PP. I did that once.
Either reorder and cancel this order, or if any of the items in your order is OOS now, then message them ask to change the payment method.

Did you get it signed? Personally, I'd get the inner signed. I did that when I met Warwick Davis and asked him to sign Willow. It's now my most prized steel.

I am also a big fan of these movies but I too have 6 editions like you, except replace the last two (black Kimchi) slips with Canadian exclusive amaray slips
