Not so much, which should i watch, but which one first???:movie: I have not seen either of them, but it was tempting to watch a pirate "deeeveeedeee" over the last few months, but i didnt wanna spoil my enjoyment of a crisp, sharp Blu, so i was strong.(just).
Love the de bossed apartment building windows in The Raid.
Both in great condition.
(Is that new packaging from HMV, i`ve not ordered from them in ages).

Did you get Cabin in the Woods for £15? Looks like it on the packadging. Dont remember seeing it go that low at pre order, sorry hope you don't mind me asking?

This is the new pinnacle of UK steelbooks, if you've got it - well done, its like a wedge of cash, consider that 4000 made, at least half will be straight to collectors who will never let go, that leaves only 2000 to be fought over by salivating collectors over the world....let the games commence

I received mine today with a small scuff on the top left corner but the wrapping seems to be fine. Do I open or keep sealed now?

Mine came today as well woop woop no spine slashes or anything absolutely gorgeous! It's even better looking in person I think I am in love As mentioned definitely a benchmark on future steelbooks

I had a spine slash on my Jaws steelbook and I emailed Play customer service, I mentioned that all the foam and new packaging is useless if its damaged before it goes in it. I just received the replacement for that which was also mint.

They seem to be very open to feedback so I'd suggest dropping them an email so hopefully it can be prevented from happening to future releases (Watchmen)

I think those shallow indentations on the corners are there on a great many steelbooks and are caused in the manufacturing process. Maybe they're a little more pronounced on this release, but mine has them too (on the top and side) and I think they're normal for this release.

I think those shallow indentations on the corners are there on a great many steelbooks and are caused in the manufacturing process. Maybe they're a little more pronounced on this release, but mine has them too (on the top and side) and I think they're normal for this release.

I've noticed them before and always thought of them as a result of the manufacturing process too. I've never thought of it as a problem or defect before as it seems to be the case on every Steelbook.

One thing I did notice recently on Play.com-steelbooks, is that the sealings on the back have this weird vertical line in the middle. It's pretty wide (~5 cm / 2 inch). Is this just a new way of sealing? The Raid has this as well.

Got mine this morning in mint condition, watched it at the cinema, intense action scenes.
Didnt think this would sell out or I would have ordered 2.

It's most definitely a manufaturer issue. I have the same but seems less visible than yours. I wouldnt make much fuss over it. It is a true beauty!

I thought as much. As long as it is accepted as that I'm happy. It was also more visible because I was getting it to catch the light.

Yes got them on most if not all of mine, corner only mind. Think the bare metal doesn't help but just checked and there aren't any similar marks on Forrest Gump or Godfather (for instance).

It's soooo sexy though. From a puerly selfish point of view I hope this is a UK only release.
