The Red Turtle (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

I agree... there's far too many blues in the collection compared to any other colour - red/orange would've definitely been more suitable!My only gripe though is that they shouldn't have used blue.
As this is Ghibli's go-to color for their own work and for this animation they only produced and did the distribution in Japan.
So instead they should have used the red color even Ghibli embraced for this animation.

Do agree that the title could've been red ... but not likely going by past experience where the background colour of the artwork in nearly every instance dictates the colour of the title:-

... although there are exceptions where the colour of the title is taken from the focus of the artwork and not from the background:-
Regarding the lovely and colourful spines: as we've already had three red / reddish ... the last two releases w/ really dark spines ... this paler blue sea colour (a first for that colour) should be a joy to behold.
As for the 11 SG UK steelbook releases: four in 2013, zero in 2014, zero in 2015, two in 2016, two in 2017, three (so far) in 2018: got to be one of the nicest and best-matched sets around and only fitting that these magical films receive an equally magical steelbook collection.
(11 and counting with still at least another ten to go)

Agreed! I hope one day someone will do the collection justice. A premium release would be even better. I wonder what the licensing costs would be.

To those moaning about the style of this super collection all I can say is go buy the Italian or German editions.
As we all know, roundel artwork not unusual in relation to this studio ...
... and style also used on non-Ghibli releases ...
... and with Tyler Stout, no less, back in 2013 creating a few posters in the same roundel style that some of us know and love ... used among other things as artwork to house LPs ... and could even have been the inspiration for the UK steelbook design:-
