at first i was like, god this is ugly, but the movie is great, need this.. Then found out it was the US remake. My wallet like that.

Oh I want this, it being Shout Factory means it'll never get a UK release though.
Also the Blu-rays will be region locked so you only get the 4K if you purchase it.
Then we have the possibility of Paramount doing a collection or Steelbooks...
Although they only did a reissue of the original Blu-ray for the 20th anniversary of the first.....but maybe this is a sign that'll do a 4K version with its sequels..

Finally the better Ring movies get proper special treatment.
I've watched the original trilogy on DVD in 1999 or 2000, and recently re-watched the first Ringu in theaters, and it was much, much worse than the remake. I'm sorry - I'm not sorry...
