rIt’s nice to see decent artwork again but why is it always for a movie I couldn’t give two tits about :cat:

I liked some aspects of this movie. Such as Orbital's new version of the classic theme tune and, er, the theme tune and, er... :)

It's such an awesome, fun, thrilling movie with a great soundtrack, the most beautiful, warm and sensual Elizabeth Shue's ever been, and Kilmer's phenomenal diguises comparable only to the same year's Willis in The Jackal.
I also personally like the parallel lines to a real recent revolution in Russia, with Yeltsin on a tank like Rade Serbedžia's Tretiak.

Notable tracks featured in the movie are:
Oil by Moby
A Dream Within A Dream by Dreadzone
6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps
Out of my Mind by Duran Duran

I have always felt the same about Elizabeth Shue's performance in this film. Absolutely spot on!! Love 6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps.

This film has got such a bad reputation and while it's certainly quite a way from perfect it does have some fantastic qualities.

Oh definitely, its representation of 'a foreign country' is far from being authentic and is more stereotypical than some of the 80's films were. Not the 'mafia in a black SUV' part, that's pretty accurate, but more the old grandma/babooshka constantly offering tea, and some underground 'revolutionaries' selling guns in the sewers... :shipped:
