Agree. I would like to know what implores Arrow to not continue along the route of releasing steelbook version alongside standard though? (Besides the cynical view of rinsing the collectors community) I can only think they have plans to do an extra special deluxe version perhaps?

What is a little concerning along that thought train, is they look like they've dropped the rigid slipbox for this edition? Baffling.

I kind of understood the recent titles like Weird Science etc. getting a lesser grade packaging...

Silence of The Lambs 4k should get all the trimmings though ‍

True, and they have weirdly omitted that information from non-steelbook Limited releases in the past... that have turned out to be rigid... however that was before the Weird Science, Time Bandits etc. packaging

I think the lack of steelbook option + those packaging choices has left me doubting tbh... I do wish they'd just put rigid ‍... it's a big USP, for my money at least.

Ooo @paulboland I'm happy to learn this, thank you! Progression in place of suspected regression is rare & always welcomed Absolutely amazing to hear the colour timing has been fixed from Kinos too!

Although now I see deliberation afoot over;

A. Pre order nice new shiny packaging style immediately.

or

B. Wait patiently for the steelbook announcement.

A regular potential dilemma that I have faced previously. I shall endeavour to make the correct & astute call upon this time. I vow to use my wisdom as an avid experienced collector....

Do you get caught for customs when ordering from Arrow site?

Do you get caught for customs when ordering from Arrow site?

I ordered a lot from arrow store direct and only had customs issue with 2 orders


1) A good few months due to change of IOSS number arrow was using I got hit for vat payment.
When it happened I contacted arrow and they refunded the vat and an post handling fee very quickly.

2) A different issue a few months ago with an in stock release I ordered where the electronic declaration arrived late.
An post received the declaration after the parcel had already arrived in Ireland and that resulted in that parcel being returned to sender.

The electronic customs declaration must be sent and received before parcel arrives in Ireland.
I contacted arrow and they sent a replacement order that arrived without any issue.

I told arrow when that happened they or royal mail must make sure the electronic declaration be sent and received before the parcel arrives and is scanned in Ireland.

The parcels arrive quickly in Ireland so that’s why it’s important the declaration be sent same day order is dispatched.

When you see An post tracking say we received notification about your incoming item from sender that means they received the customs declaration in advance.
