It's a strange one. It's definitely not gloss and it's not streaky matte. It feels very smooth so I would go to say zero finish.@ricster I'm not so sure, is it gloss? thanks
Just got my copy in on Wednesday from Zavvi
This has to be the thinnest, flimsiest metal I have ever seen on a steelbook. How it didn't get dented or dinged in that cardboard mailer is beyond me...
Anyone else notice the same?
I guess you must have a reject then. I just weighed all mine and they are actually heavier than most other 2 disc sets. Mine feels like any other steelbook released over the last few years.
I've had that before where the metal doesn't sit on the plastic insert and it presses in and out. This is on flat non embossed steels too, I think it's just that the metal used is thinner than it used to be.Maybe... but it is hard to tell when it is still sealed. I didn't think anything of it until I opened it. It is possible that on my copy the plastic and metal aren't connected right... but I can say for sure the metal is thin. It flops a bit whenever I touch it.
Anyone else open one up? What do you think?
The metal on all steelbooks are thin.
Maybe the plastic inside is flimsier.
Metal is not just thin it is wafer thin. It the plastic that makes up for the flimsiness. [emoji27]

Definitely. Wow - that's £10 less than what I paid for it 3 years ago when it first came out!@£7.99 on Amz.UK - Its been a while since the SB got this price and its definitely worth the money at this price.
