Would you like a member to host a group buy? Is there something that you think might be interesting to other members as well?

Can you all save on shipping? Or get some other type of discount?

Group buy hosts and members - use this thread to see if there is interest in the title(s) you are looking for.

Thank you !!!

You are welcome!! I for one really appreciate the hard work that goes into making these beautiful editions available to everyone here. To be honest, I did pull out of the John Wick Angel and Devil box group buy, as did others, once the details became available, but Karel was very understanding with peoples requests.
As already stated in earlier posts, there is no obligation to sign up to group buys before the beautyshots become available, but we all know how risky that can be , given Film Arena's superb track record !!!

Karel is not a retailer, he is a Gb Host and it is with him that we make the deal when we sign up for the GB. That is not me who makes the GB rules, and reason why the GBs are done blindly with a no backing out rule as this is the only way Karel can secure the copies. He can only do so early on, and when he has his copies secured with fa he has to pay them, so if he would allow backing out, he would be the the one getting stuck with all the members who would back out and have to pay all those copies out of his own pocket @Collector03601 as explained that part in another post.

And yes I am exciting about the release, we all know it will be nice, but I am not twisting anyone's arm. I love fa I will be excited about their release but at the end of the day no matter who tells you or gives you advice on joining the group buy or not, it is entirely your own decision to make, so as per your post, if you are not interested do not join the GB, that is your choice.

Personally if anyone gives me advice for a title no matter how they praise about it, I will make my own decision out of my own free will.
HERE! HERE!

We really are a privileged bunch of people, having access to release worldwide that people outside of this forum would have to source from sites such as ebay at hiked prices, with no guarantee of receiving a decent service............
Group buy hosts don't do it for the glory, they do it because they care !
Join group buys or don't join group buys, it really is that simple...............

Indeed you are not required to joined any of Karel's GB and if you want to wait for the beautyshot, odds are you will miss the GB. I have been in Love with Film Arena release since start of the year and I just fell in Love for them and when I am excited and passionate about something I get involved. I have been very lucky to be there since the beginning. Karel was very understanding of the BOX situation but he hadn't givin' his final list to FA so he could himself reduce the amount of copies. We were lucky it seems everything for that one was aligned so n o one would be impacted negatively. To join the Gb without seeing the beautyshot is basically the way it has been working since the beginning. At the start though it took a long time for them to finish the first four WEA FullSlip Release; AASB, TMR, DU and EQ and since it took that long for FA as it was their first releases and they anted to make sure they were gonna put out a quality product since day 1, so much time had passed that all the beautyshot were available for the first 4 before the group buy closed.

Like I have mentioned, on really massive GB he has done that lasted a very long time, towards the end of the GB beautyshot was revealed but who can tell when ? So for FA this is how it works if you want in you have to just jump with your eyes closed, or wait and most probably miss the boat. It's any member's choice and Karel does state in his GB rules, if you are not sure do not sign up.

and at @MrBMT The release that was sold out didn't even make it to pre-release for the general Public was Whiplash, that one sold on the still collectible numbers and with all the copies that Karel had been able to secured, it was gone in a flash. There could have been another one, that is very possible.

To the following Ninjas @tono06 @leelee17 @StifflersDad @dan8885 88 @harry @luke98 @MrBMT

Thank you Kindly for having my back today with all this non sense ! I really appreciate the Ninja spirit

As some people get sensitive to these type of comments, let me preface this by saying I mean this in the most constructive way possible...

I think the point some are trying to make is not to have a group buy you can back out of, but to have a group buy that doesn't open until after the item is revealed. With FilmArena in particular, maybe one can wait until after the Beauty Shot is revealed. That would seem to make everyone happy. I don't know how plausible that is, but it's a possible solution to allow those to have a better idea on what they are buying into.

Also, I noticed many suggested limiting the FilmArena releases to 1 per member. Now while I'm sure people have their reasons for wanting two, as FilmArena gets more popular it's getting harder to get copies. Releases like Whiplash an Ex Machina filled up fast. And these are GBs that open a random times without much warning. So unless you're on the computer fairly regularly, you'll miss out. As a community, I think part of the point is to help others and allow more people to have access to these great release. Of course, not every release is super popular. But maybe its worthwhile to consider limiting the GBs to one per person for the first few days the GB is open. If demand is not popular enough, then you can bump up the limits. Just a suggestion to be inclusive or more collectors on the whole

Darn no group buy for avengers age of ultron film arena. Guess I'll have to order direct. sycks how much there site charges for shipping though.

Hi, I would like to host a GB in future, but I don't have any experience (0 experience) wonder how can I improve my trading rating? I only buy 2 steelbooks from HDN GB before
