The 'Stickered' Steelbook Chat Thread

I don't believe I've ever seen a "stickered" steelbook, as I don't believe they exist in the U.S.. Can someone provide a picture so I know what to look for? Are these items more rare then regular steelbooks? Are they sought after like steelbooks are, or are they generally disliked and ignored?

Hey thewhite-here are a few examples. I am including the link, in case you wish to explore further. Whether they are sought after depends on the collector. Some, due to being out of print become sought after regardless of if they have a sticker (i.e. Final Fantasy VII for instance). To keep this link on track, check out search results for 'stickerbook' in the main Steelbook forum here.

I bought the Metal Gear Solid limited edition and that had a stickered steelbook. Never been so dissappointed in my life. I would never buy any form of stickerbook because theyre pointless, print a sticker and slap it on a plain tin. It's so half assed and looks cheap as hell.

couldn't agree more, especially considering the steelbook they released for revengeance.

Hey all,

I am creating a new thread for discussion of these. A list of Steelbooks that are not printed, but rather 'stickered' can be found by searching the main Steelbook forum for 'stickerbook' under 'Titles only'.

Thanks!

Thanks DB for setting this up. I didn't mean to "hijack" the previous thread, I was just curious as to what these stickerbooks were. Thanks for all of the into too.

is it possible to remove the sticker of a stickerbook?

so do you have a naked silver coloured steel without cover art after removing the sticker??

sorry if that question is kind of stupid but i do not own a stickerbook...

I only have one stickerbook but it's possible to do so with that one.
