This looks like a better finish than the US version based on the unboxing videos that I've seen. I didn't bother buying the US steelbook, but a few weeks ago I was on the Fnac site and the Alien: Romulus and The Terminator steels were back in stock, so I grabbed them. My Terminator steelbook is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

Oh, so the US one is fully matte, but the European ones are spot gloss on all the non-white surfaces! Glad I ordered the French ones as well then!

I can’t say for sure yet, but it sure looks like it in the video. Plus, the US only comes with a 4K disc (and a digital code); the French steelbook also has the blu-ray.
