The fact you can't leave the GB, means these fill be flooding the trades section and eBay after they have been delivered in a bid to get rid of them quickly. It truly is ghastly and with a terrible steel inside it's by far the worst release FA have done. The steel itself being so poor you would think they would have made a stunning slip.

Folks can convince themselves all they want that its cool because it's concept art but even Cameron would be asking which loon picked this for a front cover. Its beyond bad. I'll judge for myself when it arrives, but this is probably the only FA title I won't be opening and enjoying.

A SERIOUS disappointment, when this could have been very nice. (n):(
So if you hate it so should everyone else?! Sorry but I don't think so.

Please show me in my post where I say "everyone" This forum isn't the only place people discuss steelbooks, and I've had many people say they hoped for better and will most likely not keep it, then there are those that stay quiet and sell everything on anyway.

I also speak to a lot of collectors away from HDN that have expressed sadness they missed this release so for all the haters there are just as many lovers who would've been grateful to have the opportunity to get this.

True but until now I have not seen many if any FA releases on the secondary market as there hasn't been this level of split in like/hate before, I think this will be the first one we'll see being sold on.

I'm sure the people that don't like it will be making a decent resale profit so they won't exactly be crying about it.

Well you won't see many of the GB copies for sale unless they want to get removed from future FilmArena GB's.

Karel has only ever made that stipulation on very limited releases, this isn't. I think FA have had a good track record of people wanting to keep their packages, but since GB's and payment are being asked so early now so orders can be secured before full package shots are announced it will result in some people passing them on.

But ok, never mind. I love it, I've joined the GB and now I just have to wait to receive it :)

Well good thing is its cheap works out about £18 delivered so can toss the slip if dont like it in hand

Depends on what you call a descent profit, based on the one being sold @Auction £26 few hours left. its no money maker.

Personally not a buy to seller.
Reading back posts here he sounds like he goes beyond the call of duty for no personal gain, which is very admirable
But once you have paid him for it , it is yours no

collecting or having a liking of steels or slips is very expensive hobby ,most buyers i guess are "regular guys and girls" and selling on ones you have fallen out of love with, don't like or are willing to let go to fund other ones is something that(just about) everyone does
So if you dont like it in hand you've got to keep it,even though don't want it now you seen it in flesh
And also people who didn't get chance to buy one within GB or from website and want a copy ,means you are making it harder for them to be able to pick one up ,for no real reason.
yes i know people are going to post his GB,s his rules yes, also understand reasoning behind it but .not sure what good comes out of it and its not really enforceable
don t people just cover the number up with there seller tag or use photo editor to erase/ cover it in these situations where not allowed to sell on
..

I like both the steelbook and the Full Slip
Its very nice looking Full Slip I like the idea using James Cameron concept artwork he created when in early planning stages of the film

I like the overall package and will be another release in my collection

Very true, I don't often sell on unless I really don't like it and even then it's usually to someone on here at cost. If I can sell one to buy another that's good though for me. I'll judge this when it comes, if it's bad then I know a few on here that I can at least make happy. [emoji4]

If this artwork was the winner of a custom artwork contest made by some random fan on a forum it would be destroyed on here immediately. Or imagine the backlash if it was on an exclusive Zavvi steelbook release? I feel some people are tolerating it much more than they normally would simply because its concept art from James Cameron and also because its Filmarena.

Looking at the pictures of the slip, the proportions seem a little off (his head is a bit small). But as long as what I see in the picture is the same as what is on the slip, I'm keeping my copy! Maybe we are all suckers for loving such a classic movie. I don't know what y'all are crying about.

Well, I get a few of these Terminator releases and this is looking to be a keeper...but sure pics says one thing in hand another. Looking forward for this one...just love these classics!
