I do like this one, interesting choice for back art, it's good but it's not an Endoskull from any of the Terminator movies released to date. The nose is completely different, previous ones mirrored a normal human skull, this dosen't.
I'm wondering if it's been taken from the Terminator reboot currently in production ?

Can't believe people are saying this is better than the Play steel design-wise. What design?? The Play one had actual artwork and color. This is just Arnold's face with too much headroom on a black background and the color red (black with red being the most common steelbook color combination it seems). The back is the only cool part. The inside art is ripped off from the Insurgent posters:
OR did they nick the imagery . Terminator is 30 ish years older than Insurgent .
Just had a good look at my play version again to compare them. Hmmm......it's hard to call it. I like both! The spine on the play version is really cool IMO.
Don't even have to look at my Play version, never liked it...never will. This is much closer to the ideal artwork, I'm in like Flynn!
I hope they will make the red in the eyes gleam, if it's matt then some spot gloss too, the play version is still hard to beat though. As this is one of my favorite movies and this is a different design, it gets added to the collection.

If they make a matching set, i will pounce. I prefer this over the play.com steel, its alot more Terminator esk.
Nothing is beating the play edition, it's one of my favourite steels

Info from a German site in regards to new terminator steelbook
Its might be different to what Fox UK release though
Terminator" have revealed new edition with new bonus extras
The announced new bonus material, which is provided to the Blu-ray in the form of download codes for the digital reference available, you put only in the conventional Keep Case Edition
The Steelbook will therefore not have the code with access to the new extras.
If this applies to the UK as well I will be ordering both the Steelbook and the Amaray Blu-ray

Fox are the worst. It seems that they are intent in rehashing all of their old Steelbook releases this year. When they do release a new title it is usually in Futurepak form or is a Steelbook but with nasty 'pop art' or terrible finishing.
I see the 'chunky'' endoskeleton from the T2 Skynet release strikes again! The only version with the endoskull with the correct proportions is the one from the Flaming T2 Steel, where it actually looks menacing. Nice front cover but the old play.com version has a great 80's vibe with the hand painting, and the embossing. That version is the winner for me no contest
Wish we could get a UK T3 release for completionist's sake rather than another T1 to be honest.
