* Cinematographer Dean Cundy reveals a sly lighting technique used throughout the film to indicate when a character has become no longer human, "I discussed with John doing a subtle lighting trick to imply who might be 'the thing''".... he explained, “So we were looking for some kind of a subtle way, to say which one of these (men) might be human. You’ll notice there’s always an eye light, we call it, a little gleam in the eye of the actor.”

if all of these were in English I'd buy every version, sadly I don't think I can buy any of them as my C at GCSE German won't surfice

All 3 look good but I'm happy with my Mondo steel.
This movie seems to have a ton of good editions and I cant afford to get into it haha.

Unfortunately, I have wrong info in the original post. Disc 3 is not the 2011 prequel, but a DVD of the 1982 movie.

I got 2 of the Turbine Mediabooks yesterday. Here a view on the front cover of them. The Thing comes with the synopsis and credits on the backcover.
