Do they ever release who the actual artist is on these Steels? Just curious if it's just some in-house Photoshop student... or an actual artist.

Seems to me its more obvious that the artist was not allowed and/or informed to avoid the likeness of Kurt Russell. It's done on purpose for liability concerns.

but .... that's when you do something stylish like what Gary Pullin did for his The Thing Arrow artwork where no face was used and yet it was well received.

Of all the amazing fx this film has to offer as a possible cover for a collectable, we get this. I mean, seriously man. Make the cover the Norris Spider with killer embossing. That would be epic!!!

Yeah, it isn't great art at all - but being gloss makes me feel slightly better about the fact that it's the steelbook inside the CM lenticular.
