Stupid question...is a jumbo steelbook basically a g1 but wider? Jumbo prolly wouldnt bother me if it was was the same height as my other blu rays/steels. Diff height would be a deal breaker

G2 and thicker (or wider depending on how you look at it).

Well a jumbo can obviously be G1 (DVD sized) or G2 (Blu-ray sized). In this case, it will be the same height as a regular G2 Steelbook, but the spine will be much wider than normal.

Oh well hell ive been avoiding jumbos cause i thought they were all like band of brothers lol. Why do people dislike jumbo then? Im gonna pre order this now that i know!!

The Jumbo's have gotten a little bit sturdier (Star Trek: TNG Jumbo's), but the first ones that Disney released a couple years back were really flimsy. I'm not a bog fan of them, but they still look better than a regular amaray plastic cover. Most now are all G2 blu-ray sized.

DJ, ha! I remember picking up my 'UP' from BB and being like 'what the heck is this?' But they definitely provide for an alternate to the Amaray for folks looking for an upgrade.

I was at Future Shop today and they did not get them in, not sure if its just late or if they are not gonna get it. Also no luck that Target maybe had it either..

Look like it's been canceled, I went to FS today and they didn't have the steelbook edition and there is no mention of a steelbook edition on the weekly flyer. The link to the webpage for the steelbook give an error 404...

Very limited amounts.
At Target they were located at the Front of the store, Not at the back in the movies section. Also was very Hard to find a perfect (centred) spine.
