We***8217;re certainly planning to continue doing all future seasons of The Walking Dead in steelbook with matching artwork ***8211; it looks likely season 4 will be out in September 2014 as it follows the same pattern as Game of Thrones (i.e. the new season hits DVD and Blu-Ray just before the new season starts).

We***8217;ve been told that the steelbooks will feature in the US Walking Dead magazine, so likely to be quite a bit of international interest for these.

The Entertainment Store is pleased to announce our latest exclusive steelbook releases: Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of The Walking Dead, AMC***8217;s Emmy Award winning TV series.

Each season features world exclusive artwork by Mark Simpson AKA Jock, who is responsible for some of best regarded comics and art of this generation, having worked on 2000AD, The Losers and Hellblazer amongst others as well as producing artwork for many major film studios, including the artwork for HDN Steelbook of the Year 2012 winner The Raid.

It's in this thread somewhere, and there's even a version someone reworked to be not quite as bright white to better fit with the first two seasons.

I was surprised how easy it was to change over. only thing I need to do now is replace the spine. i've even sorted out the J-card

I maybe wrong but I'm sure I read previously that the walking dead steelbook s3 came out as a jumbo turn slimline but I don't remember where I seen this? Or was it not zavvi that took out a slim version,i see in this thread upto 2017 mentions jumbo? Just took advantage of there deal of 2 for $15 of the walking dead steels and I was not sure what was in the Jiffy bag it was the jumbo steelbook. So I'm not sure where I read about slim steelbook of same,I'm ok with it but prefer to have slim so where did it come from? There is a small ding on top of steel being sent to Australia in a bag lol but could have been far worse. Honestly zavvi are the worst for packing just no respect for items we buy a jumbo steel in a Jiffy bag regardless of cost does not matter.

I went to all the effort of doing a custom slimming on the Zavvi one and then Amazon FR produced their slim version. I had to order it of course.
