Michael Mann is notorious for editing his films whenever they are released on a new home video format. I have LOTM on BD but not seen it yet. Aware that there are two other cuts on DVD.

Dances with Wolves though, worth mentioning that the extended edition is not a directors cut. Kevin Costner stated that in the early 90's as that cut was prepared by the studio for it's TV premiere IIRC. Will fish out the article but he wasn't happy with it back then.

If you really wanna drive yourself batty, look up some movies with MULTIPLE cuts. MANHUNTER has about 5 different cuts, as does BLADE RUNNER. CLOSE ENCOUNTERS has 4 or 5, ALEXANDER has about 3 or 4 (Stone may never finish tinkering with that!), TOUCH OF EVIL has 3, MR. ARKADIN has 3, ARMY OF DARKNESS has 4......

Warriors sell out quick anyway, they prolly use black friday to advertise and sell the disney lentis so the next rerelease wave of them can roll out even faster.

yeh, i think warriors will be an instant sell out. maybe some people might not have an intention of buying disney steels, but if they are drawn to the site on black friday by the warriors, they might end up buying more stuff lol

Zavvi provided the info to a few web forms and announced there won't be a pre order with this release
Zavvi have announced Warriors steelbook will be bypassing pre-orders to go live as ‘in stock’ later this month

To put it in basic terms when Zavvi have this release in stock at the warehouse they will make this release active on the website to order and payment will be taken straight away with despatch as usual within 24 hours.

Yes some select persons know when it's going live but are under strict orders not to announce it until Zavvi tell them it's ok to announce the details
I'm not one of the select persons who know's when it's going live just in case someone starts to PM me
