I hope the secret releases they are announcing for Black Friday are not buy now and have a pre order date. They mention 4K steels and 3D (which I assume will be the Disney & pixars lentis)

I think the 3D ones are but they mentioned 4K steels too. So I'm not sure what they will be. Maybe a new pacific rim or something like that

I would suggest be checking website from 8am to 9am
It's Zavvi after all time keeping not always the best they push the active switch early or late
Can be 10-40 min early at times and other times be late by half and hour

Yeah, I'm planning to be around at least an hour before just to be safe... hopefully it won't go live any earlier than that though. I'd rather it be late than early... for totally selfish reasons though.

As much as the art is lovely I'm not playing zavvis new games of ordering a new steel and the payment is instantly taken for dispatch. (And why just this steel?)

I think we can all agree the DC is cack, but the steelbook is lovely. Might see if I can jam and stuff the original VHS cassette in the steel slip, make me forget all about the hideous newer cut

Yeah, like the OT Star Wars steels, this is worth buying for the hopeful future swap-in. The original cut DVD can hang out in there in the meantime.
