Now live on Amazon.co.uk £21 - order placed

Will be keeping an eye on Amazon.de to see if they will be getting the de-boss treatment for this release though.

It's been live all over the place for weeks!

It's £19.99 on Base.com

:emb: Should have read further back in the thread. Thought the Amazon email I got was an order alert, see now it was just one of their junk emails. :)

So you hope they use the inside art from the Czech mock-up...

Personally I hope they make it exactly like the current concept art, with a high gloss finish and embossing! :scat:

Yes, I hope so.

Its pretty boring, for the inside artwotk only DiCaprio from a party scene. That says nothing about the film. Is this a spring breaker film with DiCaprio ?

The girl with the dollars o her body, that is unique.:scat:

Further, the backartwotk is no very creative. The dollar bill is on the frontartwork, why they use it on the back ?

The "wolf" from the title is nothing to see.

They make so creative, nice poster artworks, its a shame that they dont use this.

Yeah I'm pretty sure someone vaguely confirmed it's not happening, was just a 'suggestion' from the producers...like 'maybe you'll see the longer cut on DVD' - the Mail hear that as 'YOU WILL SEE THE LONGER CUT ON DVD'.

From what I've heard from Scorsese in interviews the 4-hour cut isn't the definitive cut, and the 179-minute cut is his favoured cut of the film. Despite initially going with a 4-hour cut it sounds like he's more inclined to go with the shorter cut at the end of the day.

Scorsese has said in the past that Theatrical and Director's cuts of his movies are the same thing. All of his other movies, to my knowledge have only had one cut.

I am hoping Scorsese will make an exception for this movie but I highly doubt the 4 hour version will ever be released.

I completely agree. The dollar sign is stupid. Any of Greyback's examples would make this a perfect steelbook (if it's glossy that is).

I have to disagree with you on this. I think this is the perfect image considering what the movie is about, greed and money. While i like the other examples I think they're focusing too much on the "wolf" reference in the title.

I hope they change the back and the inside artwork, the frontartwork is good. On Gatsby Warner changes the complete design, that was the problem.

@MovieMan31, the dollar sign is on the front, in the US flag. That is enough.
The dollar sign on the back is to much, not very subtile, intelligent, creative.

The problem is, the name of the film is "the Wolf of the Wall Street" but you see nothing from the wolf.

Agreed, dude. The wolf images are cool but the movie's about money. A huge dollar sign emblazoned on the back couldn't be more reflective of the movie's tone if it tried. It isn't literally about a wolf who gets a job on Wall Street, amazing as that would be.
