Just finished watching this for the first time.

Excellent film, i was hooked within 10 mins. Even though its a 3 hour film, it was one of those films that felt like you were watching it for half an hour. If you get what i mean.

YES! Exactly, that's why quite a few people reckoned they could've watched the original 4-hour cut. It was entertaining pretty much the whole time! Looking forward to watching this again next week!

Top 3 steelbooks of the year will be this, 47 Ronin and something else...

I like this but there are many Steelbooks that beats this in my opinion, most of the Blufans or KimchiDVD releases I'd take over this. Then again I have no idea why Who Framed Roger Rabbit won last year when there were other superior releases. :hilarious:

Not sure if its been said or not yet but I just popped into my local HMV and can confirm that there release is the exactly the same as the online version from Zavvi & Amazon etc. Still priced at £24.99 and she doesnt think it will reduce but will know for sure on Monday.

Other studios need to take notice of this release. Quality steelbook through and through. Great gloss finish, nice use of 'bossing both sides, nice metallic shimmer on the rear. Doesn't get much better than this.

Still waiting for bloody Tesco to pull their fingers out and despatch my copy. Apparently I hear that they are not the best retailers in the world when it comes to shipping steelbooks; shoddy packaging being the one major worry. This looks like a quality steel and I'd hate for them to royally screw it up. Here's hoping it arrives safe and sound in the next few days :ohno:

Same here. Only reason because I got it free with club card points. Last steelbook I got from them came in a cardboard envelope but no damage so fingers crossed everything will be ok.

Used Clubcard points too; managed to save £6.50 off the list price of £22. Notice the website now has a pre-order price of £21 and they have a pre-order price guarantee. Hopefully this means I will only be charged £14.50 when everything shakes up. Still, bonus for not having to pay a penny! Can't wait to have this one in hand
