Hopefully you'll be ok and they have learnt their lesson, just make sure you check the order around release day, as it wasn't until a couple of days after Kick-Ass 2 was released I realised I hadn't had my copy.
When I checked my account, it hadn't been despatched yet and when I contacted them, they only bothered to inform then that they couldn't fulfil my order.
Fortunately I managed to pick up a copy as they came in stock for a short while again on Amazon at the time, otherwise I would have lost out.
Excellent, I shall check nearer the time. This is a blind buy for me, but loved the design of the steelie. Hopefully it will look even better in the flesh!
There's going to be an HMV exclusive edition of this film which I reckon will either be a digipack (like Alpha Papa or The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) or a slipcover, for those who want a nice edition of this but can't/won't get the steelbook. Of course you could always pre-order the steelbook from HMV, who will likely sell it for around £20 on release (but pre-order price is £30 at the moment, as their pre-order prices usually are high until a week or two before release).
Popped into my local HMV in Bournemouth and spoke to the OMGSOHOTIWANNABANGYOU sales lady and she confirmed a steelbook, 19/6/14, price on system is £30 but will go down, but no artwork on her, as she put it, "system straight out of the 70s".
Did I mention she was hot?
