Absolutely not. And I'm not exactly unique in thinking Scorsese was way off form in this outing. It was an awful 3 hour long bore in the main. Being gratuitous for its own sake doesn't impress me as a film buff. Beyond a visual spectacle it offered absolutely nothing to me.

Haha what's a 'Scorsese hipster'? In my opinion the 'worst' Scorsese 'fans' are people who think Goodfellas is the best film ever made and have next to nothing to say about his other output. I liked The Wolf and think it was a much better film that Goodfellas and I guarantee almost everyone here will disagree with me. Saying that it's certainly not the best film of this or last year, but that's not to put the film down at all (by the way, I loved Her).

If I'm not mistaken, I think they've added even more copies on Amazon.
Yes that is correct over 999 available not surprising really as although this is a limited edition its more than 4000
We don't know the print run its could be 10,000 or more for all we know
Next 2 weeks will show if this will be around for long time or be a sold out release

When they sold out months back they had a disclaimer on the item page which stated they were not getting anymore, and that any future copies that become available would be from cancellations. Sounds like someone made a decision in the last few months to increase the print run. Base has them in stock now too. You are right, could be 8,000-10,000 now.
With the high print run for this steelbook, I am little worried how will the finish quality be. It's going to be another disappointment if it's just a flat matte.
I'll just cancel my order aswell and wait for the pictures to see how will the end product look like. I doubt it's going out of sale anytime soon now.
