Here we go, got a couple of shots today. Can't really tell through the cellophane but it seems to be a similar finish to Arrow's Lady Snowblood steelbook. There might be gloss on the embossed front but I can't really gauge it.
Just to confirm, the title and flag are embossed on the front. The DiCaprio/Scorsese text isn't, nor is the spine (obviously).

Not allowed to 'til I've bought it I'm afraid. One of you will likely get this at the weekend and you can check out the innards/back. I'm not sure whether to go for the steelbook or the HMV slip...but I'm leaning towards the steelbook as the film was so fun and seems to be quite limited...plus they put some effort into this one (only niggle is the embossing doesn't absolutely perfectly lineup but it's barely noticeable).
Universal really dropped the ball with the j-card slips. What's with the paper sheet? Minor nitpick I know, but would've preferred a card slip just saying.
I dunno if you can see from the pics but the yellow is printed like a mottled texture, quite a mustardy yellow (darker than the HMV exclusive slip with the same design).
With this sealed its hard to know 100% the finish
As lot of steelbooks can look to have a gloss or spot gloss look due to shine of shrink wrap it can show up in photos especially when a flash is used

It does have Finnish subtitles after all! I am definitely going to buy this steelbook.
Reminds me of King's Speech ironpack which was also a very nice release.

I'm still hoping it's full gloss but spot gloss wouldn't be bad either. I maintain my opinion that this will be the best Steelbook of all the releases available. It's nice to get a Steelbook that doesn't have the lead actor's mug on the front.

Thank god Tom Cruise wasn't in in this film or I'd have another picture of him on a SB
