Nah it is way too obvious. The title of the film having 'wolf' in it doesn't actually need to have a depiction of a wolf on the cover (front AND back) - there aren't any lambs on my Silence Of The Lambs steelbook. I like the graphic-centric, typographic style of the current design. Reminds me of Monopoly, and someone said a school bus which is more fitting as most of the people in the film behave like irresponsible children playing games.
Pre-ordered from Zavvi for just under £19.50 - will cancel if Amazon have a sweet price, which I have a feeling they will (at some point at least). Case in point - Herzog boxset listed at £79.99, now dropped to under £50 after a few days. Awesome.

Zavvi have never sent me a damaged steelbook. Nor one after release date. I've only ever had steelbooks come 2 days before atleast. Not to mention they produce some gorgeous steelbooks and ship world wide very cheaply. They also offer paypal aswell as student discount. And yet you're all falling head over heals for amazon? I should be the one laughing.

The closer I look, the more I agree with Tobin. Now I think it looks embossed, and the border will probably line right up with that black line (maybe the black line is actually the border and not actually a black line.

I think the black line is just the border as there is a similar mockup for the German version of 47 Ronin. The artwork here clearly shows some embossing in my opinion. I think it's great that a studio is finally trying to give us a mockup that is more representative of the final product

Couldn't agree more..I think it looks original and if the colour stays yellow then it will be Original..as much as I'd like another Gold Steel..I would want a yellow one even more..I shall keep praying to the gods of steel..
I really like this steelbook and would have ordered it, but sadly despite the good acting, the subject matter was portrayed in such a way that I almost found it too much of an ordeal to sit through a 3 hour movie about some of the most repellent men to have walked the earth. I really would not want to go through that again so it's a pass.
