Hey guys-we have a thread for whether you 'ever' purchased a 'bad' movie in a Steelbook, but I thought we'd have some fun and do some 'confessions'.

There are so many bad films coming out as steelbook it's made me cut way back on collecting them. Seems like a standard tactic for promoting a duff film now is to issue it as a steelbook. There's got to be something wrong when Oscar-nominated films don't get steelbook releases but stuff like Ghostrider 2 does. I guess the studios just think collectors are suckers for steelbooks no matter how bad the film.

Worst one in my collection? I've tried not to pick up the worst examples but Death Race suckered me in. What a shocker that was!

Definitely Skyline. I'll admit I rather like the Steelbook look and figured why not? At least I got it cheap. Movies like Priest and Green Latern are ok. I don't consider them bad movies. Relatively worse than other movies I own, but probably middle of the road compared to everything out there on DVD/Blu-ray

I'm surprised so many has Sweeney Todd in their list. I think it was excellent movie.

Of course, I know, it's not a bad movie, but I absolutely don't like it. Especially Brad Pitt - sorry I know that this movie has its fan community, but I'm not part of it.

Defenitely twilight films are bad and its only for teenager lol. I prefer vampire diaries than twilight

So far 2 of mine have been picked out as not terrible

In this spirit and without a word of a lie, Scott pilgrim is in my top 20 movies of all time. I'd probably stick sucker punch in my top 50. I like the huge video game influences in both. Sucker Punch is a visual masterpiece IMO.

I loved Gamer too and firmly believe all 3 of those films deserved to do better numbers at the box office considering the fan service they pay to all the gamers out there. I'm glad to own steelbook incarnations of all 3

I'm guessing Ghost Rider Spirits of Vengeance (I can't stand Nicolas Cage), but luckily it's just the steel so I don't need to worry about accidentally watching it

Dude I LOVE IT. You are so funny!
I almost walked out on a few occasions of Ghost Rider
easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life!
And I have seen a lot of flicks! Yet, the steelie in me is still
tempted by the steelbook release! Hahahaha. Still laughing!

I personally did not like Requiem for a Dream... very unique looking steel though.

Priest had cool effects but the story was ****, and it was cut way to short... again the steel looks awesome though.

I can't comment on 10,000 BC as I have yet to watch it.
